Checklist of Ingredients
6 halved red potatoes
1 grated garlic clove, or as desired
salt as desired
14 cups of butter
olive oil, 2 tablespoons, or as required
Directions List of Instructions
Step 1
Add salty water to a big pot and add the potatoes. Add garlic powder to water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes over medium-low heat, or until the meat is cooked. Potatoes are heated over medium-high heat in a big skillet after being drained.
Step 2
Butter and garlic powder are added to the heated skillet as you mash the potatoes. Create a thick patty out of the mashed potatoes, coating the edges with olive oil so that it runs under the patties. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown. Use a wooden spoon to break the patties, then fold the crisp bottom through the potatoes. Cook the bottom a second time, then mix it into the mashed potatoes.
