POTATOES BAKED IN A MOMENT

 POTATOES BAKED IN A MOMENT

Making fluffy, fork-tender baked potatoes in your electric pressure cooker is easy with nt Pot Baked Potatoes. Although baked potatoes are the ideal side dish, baking them in the oven might take a very long time. The ideal time-saving method is to prepare them in your Instant Pot.

For fork-tender potatoes, simply set the Instant Pot for a 15-minute cook time followed by a 15-minute natural release. If you prefer potatoes with crispy skin, you may also rub them with olive oil and bake them.

Bonus: You can always create potato soup with leftover baked potatoes!

Russet potatoes come in a wide range of sizes, from 7 ounces (small) to 1 pound (large).

In order to get a decent-sized potato and have room for 4-6 in the Instant Pot, I advise using medium-sized potatoes, which weigh between 9 and 12 ounces.

INSTANT POT BAKED POTATOES: HOW TO DO IT

Scrub and/or clean your potatoes completely. Russet potatoes frequently have a layer of dirt on the outside; if you wish to eat the skin, you need to remove the dirt.

To release steam while they cook, poke your potatoes 8–10 times with a knife or fork.

Fill the Instant Pot's bottom with 1 cup of water. Put your pot's bottom on the metal trivet.

Now add four to six potatoes to the saucepan. Potato layering is OK. The "fill" line that is indicated on the inside of your pot should not be exceeded, though.

Put the pot's lid on, shut the pressure valve, and program the timing to the times listed below, based on the size of the potatoes:

A 15-minute natural release is recommended, followed by a, to relieve any remaining pressure.
